“A memorable destination presents guests with authentic and unique experiences that delight the senses.  To deliver on this as designers, we must be mindful of the local climate, landscape, cultures, and urban fabric.”

Alba Reguero

AIA, NCARB, PMP

Project Manager

An aptitude for drawing and an early fascination for exploring her natural surroundings led Alba to architecture. She brings her love of nature to her projects highlighting the beauty of the local landscape by blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. Her work at OBMI calls on her expertise to solve the technical aspects of harmoniously blending architecture with the landscape, specifically for Rosewood Half Moon Bay where every building has a special relationship with the site’s topography.

Through her experience working with premier hospitality brands, Alba has contributed to the success of several international projects where she was able to manage and collaborate with top industry specialists and apply her knowledge of FBC, IBC, ADA, and local zoning codes. Some of her noteworthy projects include the Marriot Autograph Collection Habitation Jouissant Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles Beach and the Tribute Portfolio Hotel at Rokers Point. Creating meaningful spaces for travelers around the world, Alba is honored to join forces with talented teams to fuse local architecture with contemporary design elements and represent the rich heritage of the local communities.

Alba earned her Masters of Architecture from the University of Southern California and her bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Miami. She is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and a member of both the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
