“While working, I find inspiration in the natural beauty, the curves, the hills, and the sea of Antigua. I use the land and a project’s site as inspiration and develop arrangements or layouts that are not only sensitive to the site, but which also enhance it.”

Denise George–Limerick

PMP, LEED AP, GPM-b

Architect

Denise enjoys playing the guitar. Mostly self-taught, she uses guitar playing as a sort of meditation, which serves as a catalyst for some of her architectural breakthroughs. Practical by nature, she took on the guitar because she didn’t have a piano.

An Associate Member of the Antigua & Barbuda Institute of Architects, Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED Green Associate, Green Globe Auditor, and Green Project Manager (GPM-b), with a Master in Project Management degree from the University for International Cooperation (UCI); Denise is responsible for design, execution of building surveys, site inspections, production of construction documents, and project management.

Some of her projects in Antigua include Blue Waters Hotel, Hermitage Bay Resort, and the Sugar Mill Hotel. Her work scope knows few bounds, with experience in commercial, residential, public works, and hospitality. Very active in her community, Denise has a special soft spot for projects with a strong positive impact on the general public.
