James brings to OBMI fresh talent, design sensibility, and graphic technology expertise to all his projects. He’s a member of our Destination Creation Studio, making sure the utmost level of creativity and excellence is achieved, pairing it up with his passion for high-end custom residential architecture. His years of experience span the globe, including the U.S., Maldives, Morocco, Antigua, and more. Some of his emblematic projects include a Safari Lodge in South Africa, Tazi Palace, the Royal Mansour, and Oil Nut Bay Spa.

With a Master’s in Architecture from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), when James is not designing, he enjoys being out at sea. He has over 5,000 miles of open ocean sailing experience, having participated in several regattas and crewed on yachts throughout the Caribbean and the Northeast United States. Sailing is an enormous part of his life, which he many times translates to his designs.
