Senior Project Manager

Juan Carlos has extensive experience in hospitality, luxury residential, and mixed-use design projects, being a key leader and client liaison for projects around the globe. Involved in every design phase; including concept design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration; his role is instrumental in coordinating multiple stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams.

Juan Carlos brings to OBMI’s senior leadership over twelve years of international architecture experience and progress responsibility in project coordination. His skills include an astute ability to organize, prioritize, and work on complex large-scale projects. Additionally, Juan Carlos has valuable experience in financial analysis, feasibility studies, programming, law, design, construction, and project management processes, including scope control, adherence to schedule & budgets, quality control, and procurement.

Always going for the best, Juan Carlos continually challenges himself to perform better and to keep growing in the profession. To that end, he is a Registered Architect in the State of Florida and holds NCARB certification. He’s also certified in Project Management, accredited as a LEED Professional, member of the American Institute of Architects, the Urban Land Institute, Project Management Institute, and the US Green Building Council. A former triathlete, his hobbies include photography, snowboarding, amateur car racing, and taking his Ducati out for a ride.
