"When contemporary, Western-style architecture meets the inspiration and culture of the East, the project speaks to me perfectly. I've always been fascinated by bringing timeless concepts to life in contemporary expressions."

Muhammad Moussa

Design Director - MENA

As a creative designer and a keen artist, Muhammad Moussa brings a unique quality to every project he leads, walking the line between function and art. Part creative, part visionary, part problem-solver, he is an innovative designer with a strong conceptual approach to architectural design and urban planning.

Moussa draws from his mix of international design and academic experience to consistently bridge traditional and contemporary concepts.  Reinforced with a Master of Architecture degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, with a focus on Design and Culture, and experience as a Design studio instructor, he always seeks to establish a strong research foundation that ensures his projects are rich and culturally sensitive.

Moussa’s experience in architectural design spans nearly 20 years with a wide range of skills, from traditional hand drawing to complex 3D modelling and computer rendering. He brings to the OBMI team extensive design experience in international mixed-use developments, waterfront developments, themed architecture, high-end residential and urban high-rise, commercial and institutional projects.
