Susan has a creative sensibility that bridges interior and exterior architecture, complemented by a full range of technical and design skills. We rely on Susan’s diverse project experience in historic renovations and adaptive re-use, corporate interiors, strategic master planning, and construction administration for institutional and commercial projects. She's also the resident grammar expert – a skill she considers rare in the field of architecture.
Recently, Susan served as Project Architect for a 1.1 million-square-foot renovation and modernization project for the General Services Administration (GSA). Other notable properties completed under her creative leadership include the Bermuda Waterworks modernization, AIG campus master plan and improvements, AIG-Lexington Insurance corporate offices, and the Coral Beach Club Resort development.
Tulane University School of Architecture in New Orleans, Louisiana, is Susan’s alma mater, where she earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in architecture. She was appointed by Bermuda’s Minister of Environment in 2005 to serve on the Architects Registration Council. Susan is also a member of the Institute of Bermuda Architects (MIBA), Bermuda Junior Service League (BJSL), and the Bermuda Debate Society.
