Recognized for his ability to masterfully manage complex and mission-critical assignments, Tareq leads high-end client portfolios as Managing Director of OBMI’s Dubai Studio. Taking a proactive leadership role with each new challenge, he holds a wealth of experience providing legal consultation, business development, commercial control, and management of projects to support OBMI and its clients in achieving success.
Tareq is highly skilled in drafting, evaluating, and negotiating contractual terms and conditions, with an established track record in successfully executing agreements for many large-scale international projects valued up to 500 million dollars. As a highly motivated and results-driven Contracts Management Professional and Construction Law Specialist, Tareq extends his experience overseeing and managing a wide array of standard form and bespoke contracts for OBMI projects.
Tareq’s Bachelors in Civil Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and Masters of Law in Construction Law & Practice from the University of Salford in Manchester, UK, allows for a greater understanding of the intrinsically different vernaculars of architecture, the built environment, and commercial legal practice. In addition to his professional achievements, Tareq also finds the time to travel to hike, kayak, and seek new gastronomic experiences.
